I have been craving cookies for the past couple days. Like, bad. I’ve thought about going down to the hospital cafeteria to buy a cookie or two – but those gross things just weren’t going to cut it. I needed yummy, warm, perfectly homemade cookies.
So, this weekend I finally had a break – and since I just bought a new jar of orange marmalade, I figured, why not?! Orange Marmalade Thumbprint cookies! They are light, buttery, delicious – and definitely helped with that cookie craving!
I love gummy bears! They include all of the best things candy has to offer. They are sweet. They are chewy. And best of all, they are so darn cute! I ended up with quite a few bags of mini haribro gummy bears (the best kind!) and wanted to something fun with them. And then it hit me…bake them into my other favorite treat – sugar cookies! The result was pure awesomeness.

Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies are a fun mix up on the classic chocolate chip cookies. The hubby has always been adamant about “only” liking my classic chocolate chip cookies; and gets mad when I make anything but his favorite. He did, however, admit to loving these! (more…)
Pumpkin Spice Pound Cake is soooo last year. I mean, been there, done that, right? But this Cream Cheese Pumpkin Spice Bread is a great twist on the original classic.

Summer is slowly trying to slip away. And then…we have a week like this one, where the temperatures are back in the 90s (sometimes I wish I lived somewhere where there is an actual fall season)! So, in honor of summer weather making an appearance in October, I whipped up a batch of cookies reminiscent of my favorite summer treat!
